Missions Are Areawide and Statewide

FBCP partners with other churches in the Dogwood Trails Baptist Association, made up of churches in Anderson, Henderson, and Cherokee county. Cedar Creek Community Church (4C)  was recently planted in the lake community of Payne springs, near Eustace and Gun Barrel City. 4C will give FBCP opportunities to partner in many vital growth areas.

We recently formed a new partnership with First Baptist Church in Matagorda, TX. We will be doing construction projects, VBS, Sports Camps, and other missions-ministry efforts over the next several years.

FBCP is part of the Baptist General Convention of Texas, which has over 5,300 churches. This state convention combines the efforts of our churches in sharing the Gospel, church planting, church revitalization, and missions. The goal is to send multiple teams throughout the year. Watch for details of upcoming trips!

Missions Are National

FBCP has begun a new partnership with the Quad Cities Area Baptist Association. This is a group of nine Illinois churches led by Associational Missions Strategist Jerry Hidden. We have recently worked with Jerry in one of these churches in Orion, IL. There is much work to be done in this area including construction projects, VBS, block parties, neighborhood canvasing and evangelism, leadership training, and much more. The goal is to send multiple teams throughout the year. Watch for details of upcoming trips!

Missions Are International

FBCP is part of the Southern Baptist Convention, made up of over 50,000 churches across the globe. We support missionaries both nationally and internationally in efforts of sharing Christ and making disciples.

We are currently supporting John and Sarah Fuller who are a part of the International Sports Federation, a missions group that puts on sports camps around the world and shares the Gospel. If you are interested in going on one of these trips, please see our Associate Pastor of Missions Dan Tice and he will put you in touch with the Fullers.
