Children's Ministry

Bible studies for all age groups begin at 9:30am. Children are split into Sunday School classes based on age. Click here to see where classes are located!

Immediately following the worship time in our 10:45am service, children ages 4 through 2nd grade are given the opportunity to be dismissed for Children's Church.

Trail Life USA's mission is to guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure. The Trail Life USA Motto is "Walk Worthy" from Colossians 1:10. Boys 1st through 6th grade can come participate in our troop and grow closer to God and other believers.

Girls in Action (GA) is a missions discipleship group for girls 1st through 6th grade. The GA Motto is “Go Forward!” and they do just that. They grow closer to God as they discover their part in His plan and practice what they learn through hands-on missions opportunities. GA leads girls to a lifelong commitment to Christ, His mission, and His church.

Music Drama Camp is a weeklong camp during the Summer we host here at FBCP. Children starting 1st grade in the fall through those who have finished 6th grade are welcome to join us for a week of music, excitement, and Bible teaching! Monday-Friday from 9am-2pm children will learn a musical to be performed the following Sunday Evening.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is one of the highlights of our children's ministry and our entire church. Each year we transform the entire church and lead children through different stations of fun, learning, Scripture, and more throughout the week. VBS happens in the evenings starting with a meal at 5:30pm through 8:30pm Monday-Thursday.

Preteen camp is an opportunity for our children's ministry to take kids to a safe campground where they will be with other churches and experience Jesus outside of their daily lives. Each year we take a limited number of children to Pineywoods Baptist Camp in Woodlake, TX down the road where they hear from speakers, enjoy worship, and have fun with a variety of outdoor activities.
