On the fourth Wednesday of every month, East Texas Food Bank sets up their mobile food pantry in our parking lot and passes out donated food from 10:00am-11:30am or until the food is gone. Although this is not an FBCP ministry, we provide our parking lot to be used and encourage church members to volunteer as an opportunity to serve with and unto our local community. The ETFB requires no personal identification, you will join the drive-thru line and tell a volunteer how many families you are picking up food for, no questions asked.
In order for the ETFB to run their mobile food pantry, they need local volunteers to help! They need at least 20 volunteers to be signed up to host the pantry. Come join FBCP, local church groups, school groups, and others serve our community! Beginning at 9:00am, we will start sorting produce and other foods into bags then at 10:00am we will start passing out food by families. Click below to sign-up to volunteer!
